NC Coulwood-Oakdale Little League Can’t Catch Up To FL North Springs Little League

NC Coulwood-Oakdale Little League fell behind early and couldn’t come back in a 16-1 loss to FL North Springs Little League on Monday. FL North Springs Little League scored on a home run by Colin Flynn and a home run by Caleb Cyr in the first inning.

The NC Coulwood-Oakdale Little League struggled to contain the high-powered offense of FL North Springs Little League, giving up 16 runs.

FL North Springs Little League opened up scoring in the first inning. Flynn homered on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring three runs.

FL North Springs Little League scored seven runs in the fourth inning. The big inning for FL North Springs Little League came thanks to home runs by Cyr and Coby Mayo, a walk by Luis Fuentes, and a single by Jhan Ledezma.

Matt Hendrix was the winning pitcher for FL North Springs Little League. He went five innings, allowing one run on two hits and striking out four.

Ben Cipriano took the loss for NC Coulwood-Oakdale Little League. He went one inning, allowing six runs on five hits.
