VA Abingdon Little League Loses Lead Early In Defeat

VA Abingdon Little League fell behind early and couldn’t come back in a 13-0 loss to FL North Springs Little League on Wednesday. FL North Springs Little League scored on a single by Colin Flynn, a home run by Caleb Cyr, and a home run by Mikey Sarakinis in the first inning.

The VA Abingdon Little League struggled to contain the high-powered offense of FL North Springs Little League, giving up 13 runs.

In the first inning, FL North Springs Little League got their offense started. Flynn singled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run.

Timmy Manning took the win for FL North Springs Little League. He surrendered zero runs on zero hits over three innings, striking out eight and walking one. Jhan Ledezma and Luis Fuentesentered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief. Ledezmarecorded the last three outs to earn the save for FL North Springs Little League.

Brant Boggs took the loss for VA Abingdon Little League. He allowed nine hits and ten runs over two innings, striking out two.

FL North Springs Little League mashed three home runs on the day. Cyr had a dinger in the first inning. Coby Mayo had a long ball in the third inning. Sarakinis went deep in the first inning.
