VA Abingdon Little League was victorious over TN Smith County Little League, 4-2

VA Abingdon Little League pulled away for good with four runs in the fourth inning. In the fourth an error scored one run for VA Abingdon Little League and Grayson Waddle doubled on a 1-0 count, scoring two runs.

Jake Thacker was the winning pitcher for VA Abingdon Little League. He lasted six and a third innings, allowing five hits and two runs while striking out four. Chase Hungate threw two-thirds of an inning in relief out of the bullpen. Hungate recorded the last two outs to earn the save for VA Abingdon Little League.

Cody Williams took the loss for TN Smith County Little League. He surrendered three runs on one hit over three and a third innings, striking out four and walking one.

Waddle, Brody Dotson, and Caleb Collins each collected one hit to lead VA Abingdon Little League.

Ethan Young led TN Smith County Little League with two hits in two at bats.
